"And how shall they preach, except they be sent?"( Romans 10:15). Pastor and Prophetess Audrey Berden, our founder and overseer, serves the Dallas/Forthworth area; while Pastors Sarah Bruton and Robert Lewis serve as the Senior Pastors for the Indianapolis, Indiana chapter, and Prophetess Trudy Hawkins serves as their affiliate.

Meet Our Pastors In Dallas, Tx & Indianapolis, Indiana

Pastor and Prophetess Audrey Berden is the visionary behind Virtue And Praise Ministries.She started the ministry in the year of 2000 by hosting a small Bible study in her home for battered, bewildered and abused women, all while lamenting the lost of both parents in the same year. Since then, the  ministry has expanded to two locations:Indianapolis, In. and Dallas, Tx., a power filled television and radio broadcast called "A Word In Due Season" that was listened to by thousands here in the United States and abroad. She has received commendations by two Presidents: George W. Bush and Barak Obama; a senator, Richard Lugar, for her works with at-risked youth; and is the recent 2012 recipient of Indianapolis' Mayor Greg Ballard's Community Service Award. In the works now is a tuition-free private school for deservant inner city youths  K through 6, and various other social services.

 

Pastor Sarah J. Bruton was the matron of late senior Pastor George E. Bruton (March 12, 1935 – September 29, 2010), adding their membership in 2006. Having faithfully supported her husband’s ministry, she also served as the "Mother" of the church. Mother Sarah Bruton was called to stand in his office and was so anointed by Prophetess Audrey Berden as a shepherdess for the Indianapolis chapter of Virtue And Praise. A Mother of Zion, Pastor Sarah Bruton’s prophetic voice teaches on etiquette, marital conduct and even culinary skills as she is a rock steady support to the ministry.

 

Prophetess Trudy Hawkins has been with Virtue and Praise Ministries since 2003. For over twenty years she has been delivering the unadulterated Word of God on and off television. Pastor Hawkins is not only the spiritual but also the natural sister of Prophetess Audrey Berden. The coordinator of our international Intercessory Prayer Ministry, she is a hands-on exhorter who touches the very hearts and lives of those being witnessed to through her walk with Christ.

 

Pastor Robert and Evangelist Charity Lewis have been with Virtue And Praise Ministies since 2003. Pastor Lewis' ministry being confirmed by Prophetess Berden, he made the decision to serve the Lord while still a college student. A gifted videographer, he is also the producer of "A Word In Due Season," the Virtue And Praise Ministries radio and television broadcast. His wife, Evangelist Charity E. Lewis, is overseer of the ministry's Home and Foreign Missions department. She is presently working alongside Prophetess Berden to engender revival and provide social services around the globe.
