A Ministry For Everyone!
Established in the year 2009, the Building A Better You Ministry (BABYM) was initiated for the purpose of cleaning up our communities through the vehicle of education. Having experienced difficulties and less than cooperativeness concerning her own children’s education within a particular school system, Pastor Audrey Berden initiated the BABYM Program in an effort to level the educational playing field. Thus it is a two-fold operation inclusive of holistic family programming addressing the educational needs of our children and youths as well as those of their adult counterparts. We accomplish this aim through two programmatic arms: Youth Mentoring and Tutoring and Adult Education and Career Enhancement.
Virtue and Praise, a church that grew out of an inner‐city mission in Indianapolis, Indiana, believes in meeting people at the point of their needs. Not only do we see the need for the inner city youth in Indianapolis to have a positive and safe atmosphere to socialize, but also there is a growing need across the nation. Our hopes are to, in the near future, have several BOOMTOWN’S in every state.
Our aim is simply to provide a place for young adults 21 and under, to have fun doing things “they” enjoy like playing video games, basketball, air hockey, and shooting pool. There will be areas provided for them to dance or just sit and make conversation with each other, as well as an area with computers. BOOMTOWN is a club designed just for them.
Prophetess Audrey Berden and Virtue And Praise Ministries, Inc. are proud to announce the commencement of the We Can Ministry! Manifesting the love of God through the distribution of canned goods to those who are impoverished we will infuse hope as we attack hunger in our own backyard. A much needed outreach, this ministry will work tirelessly to alleviate the financial stress in the 36 million food insecure homes across America. Initiating services in our founding state of Indiana, the We Can Ministry will provide nourishing food items to families who would not otherwise be able to afford them. For in these harsh economic times, We Can make a difference one person at a time!
The Women’s Corner is a sub-ministry of our church, our “hostesses” have wholeheartedly endeavored to address the issues facing the every day woman in a realistic and down-to-earth manner. While you joyfully thumb through each page of the publication or engage in one of our encouraging brunches, you will receive avid and candid information regarding the real truth about relationships. Our publication will have its’ hands on the pulse of revolutionary fashion offerings, confront the health concerns most women are too fearful to unveil, and of course provide insight into the state of our educational, political and community happenings. We promise to provide you with honest, informative and up to date conversation that will cause you to be transformed entirely into the woman who God has always intended for you to be….the beautiful, wonderful, surviving, thriving you!
